We loved this place because of the owners. They allowed us in before noon to have a beer. We loved their dog. I strongly recommend this place because it's in the middle of nowhere. I love the atmosphere. There are campsites near this place if you need a place to crash.

This place is just what you need after driving many hours in no man's land (in our case on the way to Mount Rushmore). The owner was so sweet and welcoming. This place is filled with vintage decor and offers outdoor seating. Too bad we were too early for Taco Tuesday festivities!!! Definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area! My hubby and I had a great time!
Let me tell ya. Real cowboy real fun. Nothing but ranchers. Tired of the sh*#y city take a day or overnight trip. Country hospitality country decor. Country fun. Bring your Shi* kickers.
If you're on Highway 34, Shamrock Saloon is the only place to stop...so STOP! If it's Friday night, it's family style food and plenty of it. The people are great, the beer is cold. On Tuesday dinner is taco Tuesday with home made tacos 2$ each. Sure, she'll make you a taco salad, but she'll poke fun at you while she's doing it. Sit outside with the locals, or belly up to the bar and roll some dice. Closed Wednesdays, usually. Bring your ID, and a Designated Driver.
