Visited amidst absolute chaos on the morning of the solar eclipse. Very impressed with the young woman at the counter, who was helpful and composed despite The swarm of people demanding their glasses and commemorative t-shirts. Also, gas was priced on par with nearby places (such as they were) when they had every opportunity to gouge due to the event. Glad I stopped by!
The location kind of stinks, but its nor a bad has station! Last time we were there the road around shell was uneven. You have to take it slow.

Lots of merchandise and casual clothing for travelers coming off the interstate. Gas prices are generally higher here, but the ice cream is great.
