By Far the BEST place for REAL Authentic Mexican food. Wait staff and owner are the best. Margaritas and all.
Wheatland is lucky to have several very good Mexican restaurants this is one of those. It's not the fanciest but it's very authentic. Great for a quick lunch. It's the first Mexican restaurant you come to when you get off of the interstate and it's right across from Mavericks so you can fill up your car and your belly and get right back on the road!
Wife and I stopped this afternoon on our way thru. The salsa was great, which is often s good sign. The chicken mole I had was delicious and so was the chili Colorado she had. Whoever is cooking knows what she is doing. We are pretty discriminating Mexican food eaters and were very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back.
Food is absolutely amazing! My wife and I eat here usually twice a week. All of the staff are excellent at what they do. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Kid friendly, also.
The staff was overwhelmed with eclipse traffic but they did a great job!! The food was excellent and our waitress was very friendly! I heard two people claim that those were the best tamales they ever had! If I'm ever traveling thru WY I hope I can stop for lunch or dinner!
